Kia Valencia
Valencia Kia Bad customer service

This is the email I sent to the management on Valencia Kia.

Dear Valencia Kia Management,

My name is Scott. Over the past two days I have been trying to purchase a Kia Rio 5-door. I needed to get a vehicle within a few days because I am starting a new job. I wanted to share my experience with you.

Let me preface by saying that I dont want to mention any names. My objective is not to get anyone in trouble nor is it to get a good deal on a car, but rather I think it is important to share my consumer experience with you and others online looking for a reputable car dealer.

There are 3 complaints that I have as a consumer that you may want consider and address.

Complaint 1:

1.) On March 27 I called the Valencia Kia dealership to inquire about a 2012 Kia Rio 5-door. I spoke with a gentleman who asked me to fill out an online credit approval form. He then asked me to call him after I had completed the application, which I did. He told me that he would check our application and call me in 5 minutes. 24 hours later I had not heard back from him. The next day I called the finance department at the dealership to inquire.
I got an answering machine. 2-3 hours later I had not heard back. I called and asked for a new sales person and they introduced me to Mr. Franklin. I know I said I would not mention any names but I have to say that Mr. Franklin is an outstanding salesman. His professionalism is unprecedented. Mr. Franklin told me that he would look up
our credit application and give me a call back in 10 minutes. As promised he did just that. He told me that I would need to come into the dealership to discuss the details. I agreed and came to the dealership a couple hours later.

Complaint 2:

It took more than 2 hours to find out what our interest rate and the price of the car would be.in addition, it seems that the sales managers were not willing to negotiate beyond the MSRP. It was either MSRP or no deal.in my experience buying several new vehicles I have never paid the MSRP. There was no negotiation. I understand that the vehicle would have to be shipped from another dealership but there were several vehicles of the same make within 40 miles of the Valencia dealership.

Complaint 3:

While I waited the 15-30 minutes between the sales person talking to the sales manager and coming back to me I took a break outside. This back and forth seemed endless and it was all over a few hundred dollars. When I came back into the building I went to the doorway of the sales managers office. There I heard one of the sales managers, in a firm and loud voice say Get the fu*king car. At this point I was glad I didnt have my 5-year old son with me. I would expect to
hear such language at a downtown used car dealership but not at a well established dealership in Valencia.

Again I want to say that I am not trying to get anyone in trouble and I am not trying to get a special deal on a car. As the matter of fact my experience has encouraged me to look at other manufactures and or buying a car online using no-haggle services.

Please email or call me.

Thank you,

Scott
