Im a custom car shop owner and I ordered a lift kit from "Donk Lifts" and received a bunch of junk that could not be used and they would not give me my money back! I call up a different lift kit company, "Universal Car Lifts" and explained my situation about ordering a lift kit from another company and receiving a junk kit. They wanted me to send them the kit that I received from their "Competition" company and they would exchange the kit for their kit. I had to pay $870 up-front for the lift kit and wait for it to arrive. I boxed up the "Competition's lift kit" and shipped it back to them after speaking to them and they understood my situation and wanted to make my happy while also being able to inspect the junk lift kit. I was told that if I shipped back the bad lift kit from another company that I would receivce my money back on the kit. I was issued an RMA and sent it back. I called the day after it was delivered (2/20) according to the UPS tracking number and the guy said they received it and it hanging on the wall and I should see a refund in a few days...
Its now 3/4 and I have called about 10 times in the past 2 weeks and keep getting the same answer, "It should be pending to your account". I have called my bank and there is not a transaction or one pending for a refund from Universal Car Lifts. It has been 2 weeks since they have received the kit now, and the supervisor keeps hanging up the phone on me when I call and say who I am and ask about the refund.
Im trying to resolve this in a civil manner before I am forced to take legal action. This has cost my company a financial loss and unnecessary stress on my life.
