Auto Finders
Buyer beware of

On 10/10/01 my boyfriend and i signed papers to purchase a 1999 ford expedition. The 1st problem was the vin# was wrong on all the paperwork but auto finders had insisted one number wont matter.

Another problem was i gave them 2 checks to hold only 1 check hold agreement was written, after we gave $2000 cash we were told our check was in the safe and would be returned but then both check were put through my bank each check $2000.

Also we were told the vehicle was financed through a bank and we'd recieve papaerwork in the mail. Until this day nothing has ever came in the mail. We kept calling and were told it'd be in the mail.

Then they called saying the bank wanted more $ and payment for nov & dec. We had questioned why we were paying 2 them and not the bank. Auto finders then claimed we were not financed they were the bank and if we didnt make a payment then we'd loose our money already paid-even though contracts said if no bank found dealer can cancel the contract and "seller must give back all consideration recieved by seller including any trade-in vehicle" still no notices/letters have been sent by mail.

When i questioned about all of this and said i better check with the better business bereau ray santiago was very rude told me to quit hiding behind the phone and go down there. Later we spok with randy who claimed to be an owner. When we questioned if his name was hays randall loren he said no.

Acording to the bereau of automotive repair business license owners are hays randall loren and webster james cameron #ag211823.

Another thing if included in the final cost was the extended warranty which was terms were explained falsely to me-i only knew because i work for the extended road service and know the terms i tell customers.

The extended warranty claims department said my loan was financed through arcadia financial, which would mean the vehicle was financed too.

I have currently emailed arcadia financial who are looking into this matter. One of the terms of the warranty is once financed the contract would immediately be void. I called on december 20 and it was still active, i notified them what was going on.

Auto finders still has the vehicle and we picked up a notice to sell the vehicle on jan 4. Tell me if this isnt fishy? Just beware!!!
