I have ownede Exploers since 1997 and totally love my ancient old beauty. It has 221,00 miles on it and is starting to need more and more repairs. So I tought I would buy a new or newer one to have when the old girl was out of commissionand I was waiting for money or time to get it fixed.

So I went car shopping. OMG! Ford you didn't learn your lesson with the Taurus. Itwas the best mid-sized car for years and then one year you went and made it into an egg and ruined it. Now here we go again with the Explorer. How can you take propbably the most popular SUV and do what did to it?
Not everyone needs three rows of seats. Don't need the additional weight, and certainly when they are closed the cargo area is a minefiled of holes and trenches and spaces where dirt and dogs can get stuck. What were you thinking? The car is a nightmare!!! The front drivers seat is small and uncomfortable, it drives differently and not in a good way from my two other Explorers. Now I am going to have to go look around for a new SUV to drive!!!
Come on Ford don't mess with success. Once again you tried to fix something that was not broken. Unless and until you make that third row an option, and fix the inside especially the front seats I am no longer going to be interested in purchasing another newer Explorer.
I am so disappointed in the new version. What were you doing making a Range Rover? That is another stupid SUV and you took all of its flaws and put them in the Explorer.

Shame on you!!! Please fix the Explorer back to the great SUV it was. This 2011 stinks.
