3sx performance
Deceptive / overcharge

*I made an appointment to have a vehicle set up and dynoed. When car arrived at 3sx it had already been on engine dyno but employees insisted they had to check timing. I Arrived at 8 am with set price on work which was to be complete in four hours max. ($600.00) Two employees started trying to find TDC on # 1 piston -after four hours they had not found TDC and stated they needed a tool the manager? That was working on the car had left at home and would not travel the 40 min. To his house to pick up-even though he knew he needed it (by his standards) to set up my car. I had brought the car 45 min. To their shop and admit when I arrived the timing pointer had been removed from car. (because engine had already been on the dyno and run and was set up) I ran and picked up the pointer due to the fact the employee would not do anything until he verified TDC. When I left 3sx around 12 am we agreed that work would stop until the next work day when the correct tool was brought to work. We had completed no work. At 5pm _ on the same day I received a phone call telling me they had made a tool and continued to work on my car and now a $180.00 (brand new just out of the box) coil was bad? He also stated that if he worked on the car anymore he would have to start chargeing me for it! I told him not to do anything else to the car I would be there the next working day at 8am with the module and to check the coil and I would fix it. He said OK. SO—I went to his shop and installed the module and verified the coil was bad. I left his shop to go in search of the coil ect. When I returned he told me he had contacted Percision turbo and they had told him that the placement of the wastegate was wrong and that if he cranked the car to dyno he would blow it up!!! He said I should just take the car and leave until I have the wastegate moved. I explained to him that the wastegate was not in the perfect position, but that it had been checked and would work. He said NO-he would not touch the car. So I loaded the car and went to see how much I owed them sinceTHEY had taked off my timing pointer and purchased another one without my request or knowledge I knew I owed for that. The man at the counter sid I owed them $485.50—I asked for what? All they did was set the timing-which was correct when I arrived—He then explained that he understood they had done alot of work -Iasked what work -again all that could be said was we found TDC and checked your timing and it should be within 10 degrees—10 degrees? What kind of deal is that.?? So I went back out in the shop to talk to the shop manager that had been working on the car-when I confronted him he told me to leave and never come back or bring that car back—so I left! When I arrived home I called percision turbo and talked to the same tech they talked to. I was told that they had not told the employee @ 3SX anything like he had said—No blow ups or damage -just that with the waste gate not exactly positioned the boost would vary a little-but if they were good with the dyno there should NOT be a problem. I hung up and called 3SX and the shop manager answered and I asked him why he had not told the truth about what the tech at percision said—He stated all that makes any differance here is is that we dont want your work or buisness and do not come back to our shop! &Listen everybody—I have been scamed—they knew the minuite they saw my car they could not handle the job! They cried and cried till I left it with them— they say they can dyno turbo cars and set them up.—NO way—It cost me $485.50-labor — 30.00 in desiel fuel & a brand new MSD $180.00coil to find out—DO NOT make the same mistake—They got me for all this plus some more in just a few hours. BEWARE of 3SX-there are others on here that they have scamed also!!
