Exactly what a weekend.
First, we got towards the airport at O'Hare on Friday at 5 to locate all Delta routes (mine was 2820) to Detroit terminated even though climate was not poor however in Dallas and was occasionally poor in Detroit. No answers, no options. A-one way vehicle to Detroit was at rental practices that had it readily available for $700 to $1000 only for a drop off charge.
We rescheduled for 9am (trip 2620) the following morning-after spending money on a, boarded the airplane at 8: thirty and waited and waited in order for them to repair a lock. We were ultimately advised to deplane the airplane with baggage which we did. We were informed to hold back in-line to speak on the telephone to some Delta broker because there have been no brokers or Delta people around. The trip was postponed till 2pm. I inadvertently transformed to some trip at4:15 that was lucky since 2620 was postponed till 3, then 5:30, subsequently terminated without clarification. Airplanes were ended, no answers, no aid, no body about, everyone was yelling, like a Asian household being unsure of how to proceed, a guy who talked little Language with 3 children caught, everybody confused.
We'd no religion that Delta might travel again that evening and luckily, 2720 got down around 5:30, full of people.
I've never observed a far more client-punishing flight encounter without any individuals to assist, no choices, everyone feeling stuck, and everybody, including me, never attempting to fly Delta again.
