I test drove a truck that the owners assured me had enough gas to go 12 miles and back. The engine light came on and the truck shut off and I was stranded for an hour until a pedestrian that I gave $14.50 to bring to me in a gas can, which he did, and then the light came on several more times and died with out starting. Muncy's called the cops thinking I stole it but why would I want a beat up truck that doesn't run when my car was parked at their lot. They tried to lie and say that they drove the truck for a year but when the owner turned it on it died and the engine light was on. The cop said that he believed me when he just saw it happen to the owner. I want my $14.50 in gas money that I put in but they refused to do that. They don't care for the customer because next time one of their cars could kill someone.
I never received my money from Muncy's or any information from the BBB. I want Muncy's put on the BBB bad list before someone gets hurt in their faulty vehicles! There are lives at stake here not just the money. I know other people who have bought their cars and they are sitting dead at their houses.
People need to know that they are not concerned about their customer's safety and only want money. Also that faulty truck is still sitting there and no one is driving it because it is there after hours too.
They did me wrong and their cars are lemons. If her boyfriend has been driving it, then why is it sitting up there after hours ALL the time? It's not about the money any more its about peoples lives being at risk. This business has sold bad cars to people that I have a list of. Consumers have the right to know that buying from Muncy's could be a bad and even dangerous decision. I am not satisfied with their response and want them on your bad list so no one else falls victim.
