On October 2 my husband and i went to Gus machado ford Hialeah to buy a used car thinking we'd get a good deal. Little did we know we were in for a major headache. We knew what vehicle we were looking for and the sales person brought us the keys to go ahead and test drive it. He told us he was not going to put a tag on it and he was not going to go with us, to just go around the block test the car out and come right back. Of coarse taking precaution we went around the block not passing a speed limit of 30 mph, due to the fact we had no plate and not even a salesperson was with us to explain to a police officer it was a test drive. The car seemed ok so we went ahead and purchased the car, thinking at least we thought we were making a good deal.

As soon as we took off with our F150 truck, we jumped on the highway and the car literally felt like it was going to fall part. Hitting over 50 mph on a highway we could not drive, and the transmission was all messed up. Immediately we went Sunday morning 10/03/10 to return the car. We explained our situation and expected help as customers and received no help from this dealer. They turned us away stating that since the salesperson was not there and neither was the manager that worked on the day of the sale, noone could help us. I did some research, and came to find out that i know i can not return the car. We went back Monday 10/04, and finally was able to speak with the salesperson & told him what was happening and was very upset. We also explained when we bought the vehicle they gave us a 4000 miles 90 day guarantee.

So the guy made it like yes absolutely we will help you. He said pull in your car into the ramp and we will absolutely get it fixed for you. Tuesday we called they stated they were working on it, wednesday same answer, thursday we called thursday several times to see what was finally worng with the car, and they gave us run around and different answer EACH TIME. We finally were able to get in touch with the guy handling my case and HE states, quote on quote, "Hun, i don't know why you are so upset, this car was turned in to me till yesterday Wednesday afternoon." how can that possibly be if my car has been there since Monday. He then said call me tomorrow. Friday came around and they continued to give me the run round. That's when i thought ok this is absolutely ridiculous, when either my husband and i would call they would tell us a different story. But never the truth. We then spoke then the person handling the car service and he promised it would be ready by Thursday or Friday of the following week. That they were ordering some parts for the truck and to give him a call Thursday. We waited patiently the entire week, and called Thursday.

Thursday no answer from ANYONE. So we decided to go personally and speak with the manager. And to our surprise, the parts ordering was all a lie, the car had not even been touched or inspected. Wow 2 weeks. So he made such wonderful promises, that he would keep me informed. That they would start working on the car Friday. And the reason they never started working on the car was because they were waiting on a extended service plan we purchased with the car to come into effect. I asked how can they wait all this time for that esp if i had a 90 day 4000 mile warranty when i bought it. The guy said because the esp was covered by ford itself and was better and it would make no difference because i would not have to pay for anything anyways.

So anyways, i told him listen i just want the car fixed, i haven't even been able to sit in the car for more than 24 hours and i am about to make my first payment and i still don't have a car. He again promised and apologized and how sorry he was that no one was able to help me and that he promised he would call me and keep me posted the entire step of the way. Well another week has gone by since then, we are now 10/20 and no word at all, i called the manager of service again to complain how he promised he would keep me posted and we are on Wednesday and still i have no answer from him or anyone. He said he could not tell me what was finally wrong with the car because the ONLY guy that worked on transmission had a family emergency and noone one knew the status of my car. How such a big dealer only has one guy to work tranmissions. So if the guy misses everyone is screwed. So what if the guy goies on vacation for a week, the transmission dept is closed for a week? Like come on you know. Seriously? Total BULL. So he said i PROMISE i will call you this afternoon and let you know what is going on. It is 4:15 pm and still no anser, i have continued to call, and all i get is voicemails voicemails voicemails
