I ordered a pair of "Extreme Bomber Seats" from Ed Barrett back in April of this year. Mr. Barrett was very quick with asking about the payment, stating that he was not set up to accept credit card payments yet, but would only be able to accept payment through Western Union. As soon as payment ($1000) was received by him, that's where the communication abruptly stopped.
With the help of acquaintances in the USA assisting me in tracking down my merchandise, I managed to get some replies and excuses, which varied from tooling problems to warehouse moves to phone line problems... But a month ago they were supposed to be sent "the next day"... Again. Since then I've had no replies to my calls or emails, when you call you just get to leave a message.

As of today (9-9-10), the seats (paid for in full 4 1/2 months ago) have still not been received, nor has a refund been issued despite repeated requests and more than reasonable patience on the customer's part... And communication/response has ceased from Ed Barrett as well as from any other employee at the Eddie Barrett Seat Company.
This company scams overseas customers into paying for merchandise they have no intentions of delivering, under the false impression that they are less likely to pursue the matter from overseas.
