Recently I purchased a new 2010 Camero only to have problems with the AC unit 2 weeks later. The unit blows cold air and then blows a 7 degree difference hot air about every 2 minutes. I have taken the car into 4 dealers to fix the problem and the result that I get is: "run the AC on recycle mode and it won't be such a huge difference in temperature." This is a brand new car, 6 miles when I bought it, so why should I have to be stuck running the air on recycle mode forever. I test drove 2 other same modle cars and see no difference. I have gotten nowhere but headaches and the run around since day one. Then the dealer where I purchased the car from said bring it back and we will look at it again. Well I live 300 miles from the dealer and they said they would cover a rental car for only 3 days, and I was expected to drop it off M-W because that was when they had full staff. So I am supposed to take off work to drop my car off, then turn around 2 days later and return the rental to pick up the car 300 miles away. I opted to drop the car off on Saturday, pick up on Thursday and eleminate the car rental mess. Today I get a call saying they found the problem but can't fix it because it's operating as designed. I just want a new car with working AC that doesn't have to run on recycle mode forever.
