Specialty Network
Ebay hschelli Promised to sell my vehicle for $2000 over KBB. I have yet to recieve any offers for my vehicle from them after 4 months

I was contacted by "Christian" weekely after I posted my vehicle for sale on Auto trader and Craigslist 11/19/09. I had 3 separate conversations with "Christian" were he promised that Specialty Network would GUARANTEE me a minimum sales price of $11200 for the sale of my 01 Eurovan (about $2000 over KBB). On 12/10/09 I paid $279 to Specialty Network, where he supposedly recorded the entire conversation in accordance with federal laws to protect the consumer (me). I believed he recorded the following, "I Christian Mccoy of Specialty Network will guarantee Renee West a sales price of $11200-11475 for the sale of 2001 VW Eurovan MV with 129000 miles. Then he went on to collect my credit card information (which is the only thing I believe was actually recorded). Until he said that they were forced to record the conversation because of federal law, I was not going to do business with them. I have asked Bob Fisher for that recording when I was trying to solve my issue with them on 4/16/10, and he was unwilling to obtain it for me. I ONLY signed up because of a promised GUARANTEED sales price! I was already marketing the vehicle on my own, paying less money than they wanted to assist in marketing my vehicle. "Christian" made me believe (in my 3 conversations prior to signing up) that Specialty Network wanted my vehicle because they make all their money on financing, transporting, and selling extended warranties on the vehicles. He said specialty Network didn't make their money on marketing vehicles. —Now I understand they make money by lying to consumers who are already marketing their vehicles on their own and are not on the do not call list. He told me to visit www.specialtynetwork.com to check out what the company was about before signing up and I did. It is a worthless page and I never saw disclaimers which say Specialty Network doesn't make any guarantee as to when or the price a vehicle will sell. 3 weeks went by after I signed up without receiving any offers, where I called Christian once a week with not a single returned phone call (which he also promised upon signing up). I emailed the address I sent pictures to and their response was to lower the price to around the KBB, and in tiny print for the 1st time I saw their disclaimers. I knew I had been had. I disputed the charge with my credit card company to no avail.
