I went on Craigslist looking for a car for under 1500 dollars. I came across a ad for a 1989 Audi 100e. The ad was done very professionally stating that the car was in pristine condition. All the power worked a/c was cold and pretty much a great car with no problems. However after purchasing the car on the very short ride home I noticed a clicking on right hand turns. Yep C.V. Joint. Oh yep no a/c. Stated it leaked and did not have tools to track leak. Also next morning hard start. So pretty much thought to myself hey buyer beware you should have brought it to a mechanic. His remedy was he knew a guy who could fix it cheap. I spent most of my money an needed reliable transportation so I figured let me save up some my money and try to fix it. Well another twist. On the second day of ownership pulling into a gas station I go to roll up the drivers side window car just dies. Oh and pass side window was inop on craigslist stated all power working. I get it back to Clark auto finders we find out it is the altenator Gary`s response is he knows a guy who can fix it for 45 dollars. I at this point am very frustrated and want my money back not all of it I figure minus 200 dollars. Gary`s response. It is not his policy to refund money back. I have been calling for 3 days Gary has not responded back. Update know one is going to fix an altenator for 45 bucks. It is more like 250. Please be careful when dealing with him and Clark auto finders In Port Orange on Niver St.
