CCS calls at least once every 2 weeks in the last 1 1/2 year, more often on weekends. They claimed that there's a Farmer's Insurance pass due on my policy, which was closed 2 years ago, and I faxed both to Farmer's and CCS about this account. When they couldn't collect anything from me, they told me ther's another collection that' 3 times of the amount from Farmer's Insurance and they couldn't explain where is this second collection originated. Clearly, I don't want any bad report on my credit, so I called. Everytime I called back, the only answer any operator could answer is "... This is from Farmer's and you have to ask them..." The agent at Farmer's left 2 years ago and they don't have enough information to go on at Farmer's. I believe CCS is using the fear of "bad credit" to scare people to paying them.
