I recieved at call on 8-29-09 at9:05am from Sheree stating they have found and automobile that will be finaced at clear lake mazda. I explained to this person on the phone that my credit was shot and eeryone wanted 3-4 thousand down. She assured me there would be no down payment required and i was already approved. This seemed to good to be true... And it was. I get to the dealer ship at my apointed time of 11:45am. The gentleman comes up right away said he had been given my paperwork and they just needed to verify my info (he was wearing a red shift). Again i explained that i was informed of being financed for an auto. The sales man said yes that is true and we just have to agree on a payment monthly. Asked me to fill out a ford credit application. Said they were not submitting it to for but that was the cleanest copy they had. A few min later a salesman in white shirt said that they were going to submit my app to several banks. Again i informed the salesman of my credit history and problems that i was assured that i was already approved. He informed me that the prosess is not that simple. After about 30 min the gentle man came back to me and said that i was right i was going to have to have a co-signer or put down about 3-4 thousand. I informed him of the scam i thought this was.
