I purchased a Rawlings woodend baseball bat and Rawlings baseball glove at the store yesterday spending $115, brought them home, pitched 5 slow pitches to my son, and the bat broke. I returned to the store this morning only to learn they will not accept returns on "opened" bats and that I would have to contact the manufacturer to see if they would replace the bat or refund my money. I was not offered store credit and there was no refund policy or warranty information posted on or anywhere near the bats/gloves. I am very disapponted because I have spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years. I may go to their competetor from now on. I will definitely check all return policies/warranties before purchasing ANYTHING from Dicks again.
