Earlier this year I purchased a 1999 Dodge Avenger from Second Chance Motors, this car turned into the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned. Within the first few days the power windows stopped working, the driver wheel shook violently while driving and braking. The vehicle was taken in and supposedly repaired. The wheel was not repaired and when they repaired the windows the SRS light was now on. Again the vehicle went back for an oil leak, the SRS light and the driver wheel. It spent over two weeks in the shop. After picking it up the vehicle broke down ten minutes down the road. They were nice and came and picked us up however the vehicle was impounded due to the location where it broke down, the General Manager, Ron, wanted us the pay the impound fees where their vehicle broke down. We refused and told them to keep the vehicle, they changed their mind and got the vehicle back. Again they "repaired" the car. Once back at home within two days the SRS light was back on, the cruise stopped working and the horn stopped working. They has also repaired the moonroof, now it leaked everytime it rained. The driver wheel quickly return to its previous state of disrepair and to top it off they kept the key to my locking lugs and refused to mail it to me, so if I had a flat or any other wheel problem, my wheels were unable to be removed. The finance mgr, Casey is wonderful and helpful and also the salesperson, Dallas, its the General Manager, who really screws it all up. Don't by from this dealer, it is only one problem after another.
