I purchased a new truck from Auburn's Auto Pointe on 05/04. When I got home I checked the tire pressure on the tires. Three of them were over filled to 40 psi (should be 35 and 30 psi respectively) the 4th tire was at 12.5 psi. Upon closer inspection I noticed there was a nail in the tire. When refilling the tire i noticed it loses about 2 psi of air pressure a day. This would mean it would have taken about 2 weeks for that much air to leak out. (assuming 40 psi like the other tires) Obviously this puncture existed before I purchased the car and there is a ton of construction around the dealer. I don't see why the dealer would over inflate the tires unless he intended to hide this fact. Upon contacting the dealer it was implied he would take a look and see if he could replace the tire at his cost. However, after repeated attempts at reaching him and him telling me he would call me back I finally got a hold of him only to have him do a complete 360 reversal and be extremely rude. The dealer would not compensate me for the tire that was damaged before they sold it to me.
I also witnessed extremely unprofessional conduct when in the dealership. One of the salesman was throwing a basketball around and hit one of their nicest display model cars. They also teased back and forth about who they thought was "hotter" Jessica Alba or Jessica Biel. All and all it was a very unpleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend buying from Auburn's Auto Pointe.
