This morning I noticed that there was a charge for $99.00 on my checking account that I had not authorized.
I called the Credit Union and they got this number, 800-775-1332. I called and the woman who answered the phone said that I had signed up for a free trial of up to 15 days for car rescue services. When I told her that I did not talk to anyone from Continental, she said that there was a recorded conversation of me talking to the sales person. I asked her to provide me with a copy. She said she was going to have an investigation done and that she would get back to me in seven business days.
She also gave me the address of Continental Auto Rescue. After I hung up, I went on the internet and entered this company's name and all of sudden I saw these big red letters with reports about people being ripped off the same way I was.
Thanks for keeping these reports here. It helps people to see what is going on somewhere else too.
The I called my credit union back and told them what had happened and they said that all they could help me with was to put a stop on $99 claim. Then I have to go in and sign an affidavit stating that this was an unathorized entry.
