Uses False Advertisement, Are Liars And Completely Direspectful To Women Buyers refused to honor their online listed price on a used vehicle, lied about the car being "under contract" with another buye

After searching the internet and making several calls to David Stanley Dodge I located a vehicle that I was interested in looking at. My mother was purchasing this vehicle for me as a gift so they insisted that she go on line and fill out an application which she did.

Before making the final decision and having her drive 35 miles to sign the paperwork I visited the dealership to test drive the car, being told at this time that all paper work was in order on the vehicle and should I like it my mother could make the trip the next day to finalize everything.

Upon arrival I discovered that no work had been done on the application, that person I had spoken to was actually in new cars not used cars as the was the vehicle I was looking at, and had no interest at all of putting it through to the proper department. I also discovered he had lied to me about the fact that mother had to make the trip to the dealership and that the did have a service that would take the paper work to her... Why was I not offered this in the beginning.

At this point I was then taken over to the used car lot where they told me that the particular vehicle I was calling about had been sold, I pointed to it in the lot and told the salesman it was "right there" he pretended to be confused and asked me would I not like to look at something a little "Nicer"

I told him this was the car I wanted and referred to the price that was listed online on their website and requested that since we had already submitted the application that we go ahead with getting the paper work done.

At this time I was told the vehicle was "under contract" with another individual for a higher price (the online price was $8988 and I was told I would have to pay $9988) I was very put off by this but agreed to the deal. I was also told that we needed to rush the deal because the other people they had promised the car to would be there in 15 minutes. (by the way we were there 2 more hours and they never showed)

Given the fact that my mother has absolutely perfect credit we expected a good interest rate on the car... However we were told that since she was buying the car for me (even though it was a gift and she wsa responsible for payments) that our interest rate would be 14%.

During this time my mother had driven to the dealership to go ahead and get everything taken care of, at one point in the process she became so frustrated with the treatment we receivced from sales manager Ricky Moss that she stood up to leave and he asked her "sit down and quit being pissy".

I then asked that he leave the room while I spoke with her in private after calming her down we were then sent to the Finance department, where we treated much better except for the fact tht we were told it was illegal for my mother to buy the car for me (strange my parents have bought me four different vehicles in the past) but that they do it all the time. The finance officer that helped us even went so far as to say if he didn't go along he would be out of a job.

Also During my test drive of the car with Ricky Moss I pointed out to him several times that the heat was not working, he brushed my complaints off by telling me "oh yeah Honey it's warm" several times. He also for some reason felt the need to put his hand over mine on the gearshift to show me how the shifter worked and also asked me if he had found a new drinking buddy??? I thought this was extremely inappropriate.

After returning home I found that the heat or airconditioning neither one worked and when I called in to request it be fixed since I purchased the car on the 6th and it was today the 12th.

I spoke to Rob in the used car department who I was told was over Ricky Moss, I told him about how dissatisfied I had been with the whole process and about the price descrepency from online to in office, he also was extremely rude and resistant to providing me with a replacement vehicle while mine was being fixed.
Another thing that struck me odd during the process was that Mr. Moss gave me a referral to credit repair service named Millenniun Credit Repair run by a Michelle Ingle. I first though it strange that someone in the sales division would make refferal regarding credit when the laws are so strict on seperation of sales and finance in the auto industry and I found it even more strange to learn the our local newsline 9 had done a special on Michelle Ingle and Millennuim Credit for taking people's money and doing nothing to reapir their credit.

When I mentioned this to Rob, he dismissed it saying that news 9 was wrong she just had so many customers she could not get to all of them and could not return all their calls. (but I guess she somehow found time to take their money)

I have a time set this afternnon to take m y car in for repair and a promise from Rob to provide me with a replacement to drive while they are repairing my car. I guess we will see if my experiance improves... However I can assure you they will not recieve repeat business from my family or I and I would not reffer anyone to them to purchase a vehicle.
