About a year ago I bought very expensive run flat tires for the front of my Corvette., which also included balancing and alignment. About a month ago I hit a pot hole and took the car in for an alignment as I'm very careful with this car and didn't want to jeapardize the tires. I usually only drive this car on the week-ends. Someone in my Corvette club noticed I had metal showing from the inside of the two front tires. On Saturday morning, I took the car back to Dekalb Tire where I bought the tires. They kept the car all day and didn't call me. When I finally called them, they said the car was ready. I went to pick it up and nothing had been done. They absolutely refused to do anything. The car had to be misaligned when I first bought the tires. I remember somebody saying something to me that they didn't follow the manufacturer's recommendation because it was incorrect.
Not only will I not take any of my four cars there anymore, I will tell my Corvette Club not to as well.
