Overcharged and Bad Customer Sevice

We rented a car while ours was being repaired. We spent 30 minutes in line to be told ERAC did not have our car ready nor did they have the GPS unit we requested. The salesman who walks us to the vehicle 45 minutes later does apologize for the wait stating they are understaffed and won't hire anyone else because the company is in a financial pinch and has already laid off five people at this location, ect... We tell him no coverages, initial where to decline and see that our rate is still the same for a vehilce that is two class sizes down. We argue about price and he says lets go back in and adjust it by $5.00. We go back in and he gives a lame story how the compuiters will not reduce the rate.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes later, we just leave we are already mad. We have the car five days, turn it in at the branch and get a small recepit. I get our credit card statment and they have billed me for a GPS unit and all coverages. I try to call them fourteen times and ask for a manager. No one calls me back. I email corporate and no reply. Fortunately I used my American Express card and denied all charges. Now I will wait for them to call me.
