Problem car, has back six times to try fixing the same problem

We had purchased a 2008 Dodge Charger Super Bee (vin# 2B3LA73W58H171659) (Dash Plaque # 887) on April. 14 from Plattner’s Winter Park in Winter Park Florida. The car broke day the very first day driving home with it. If that was not enough, the Dealer delivered the car to me with screw in the front left tire. I was then told he could not do anything about it, until the next business day. So I had to find a local gas station to plug the tire. When I went back to the Dealer; he wanted to replace the tire with a used one that had 200 miles on it. It took the better part of the day arguing with him to replace the tire with a new one. Since then the car has been to three different Dealers in the state of Florida. The last Dealer to work on it was Charlie’s Dodge in Fort Peirce, Florida. The car has been serviced six times for the same symptoms. The last Dealer said they were at loss; this even with them calling SRT team in Detroit, Michigan. The service manager there and the field representative both agreed that the car should be replaced under the lemon law.

During all these repairs over the past months the Dealerships had the car more than me. I had been in touch with Chrysler back at the time the car broke down the second time. With this I asked if they could replace the car, I was told no that it was not repaired enough times at this point. With this the file on my car was sent to Impartial Services Group, in Texas to help me with the matter.

Now when the car went back in for the fifth repair, this is when Impartial Service Group agreed that the car should be replaced. These are the parts replaced so far: Two wiring harnesses Pcm TCM Anti-Lock Brake Module Cam & Crank Sensor Lifters

This is what happen next, I was told neither Chrysler nor Impartial Service Group could get a Dealer to work with me. I was left stuck to do this on my own. I went and tried six different Dealerships trying to get help? All them had the same answer, they would not replace the car with one of there’s because there would be no profit in the deal. Now I went back to my selling Dealer and the General Manger agreed to replace the car, because they did have one more they could get from one of his other stores. This arrangement started back at the end of July. 2008.

I called him a few different times over the course of six weeks. I was told so many different lies as why the paper work was not being done. It got to the point they would not talk with us over the phone not even returning a phone call to me or Impartial Services Group. I did not go in person because they are 140 miles away from my home. I bought it there because they where the closet Dealer to my home who had this model (Super Bee) car.

At the end of six weeks with this mess, the General Manager now tells me he is not holding the car for me. He would sell it to the first buyer that comes along. With this I called the Impartial Services Group, to let them know what was going on. They suggested to me to try the Dealership where I last had the car serviced, if they would place an order in for me on a new 2009 car. Within two days of speaking with Charlie’s Dodge in Fort Pierce, FL the order for the car was placed.

Here is my other problem, they told me at Charlie’s Dodge all they could do was place the order and that was it. The order was placed on Oct. 1 at 2:00pm. I greatly appreciate Charlie’s Dodge for being kind enough to place the order for me; but know I have a car sitting in my driveway that I cannot drive with reliability. Also, I am paying every month a hefty some of money to Chrysler Financial for a car I cannot drive. Now with the internet, people are more educated with the world we live in. What I trying to say is, that there is a public web site where you can track your car’s order status (http://www.dodgechallengerregistry.com/). For some reason some one took it a pond themselves to push my order status back from BX to BG (not scheduled for build) on Oct. 31. I was told by Impartial Services Group in Austin TX, that my build order would take priority. This never happen. I have contacted Charlie’s Dodge, Chrysler Customer Relations, Chrysler Customer Resolutions Dept. And Impartial Services Group. Each one tells me that they can not help and try to push the problem off on each other; I am going around in a circle with no one who can help me.

With all the trouble I have had with this car, Impartial Services Group is also now trying to push me into a buy out, this does me no good I need another car. I feel that the right thing for Chrysler to do; would be for someone in the Chrysler Corp., that would be kind enough to expedite the order for my new car. Or if they have a similar car up in Brampton, Ontario Canada in their holding lot; they could let me have that car. I know that there are plenty of these cars sitting up there waiting to go out. I would greatly appreciate a call back on this matter.
