Purchased car on e-bay dealer said vehicle Vehicle had 3 month or 3000 mile warranty, when I got the car home I notice the rear tires were wearing uneven (dealer lied about new tires in the ad also) I attempted to remove the wheels to examine if the bearings were bad. I couldn't get the wheels off. I had to use a pry bar to remove the rear wheels. Finally getting the wheels off, the spindle area, the hub where the bearings sit was a large clump of rust. The nut is rusted on to the spindle can't get them off. I have to take it to a shop for repairs. The front wheels I can't get off at all they are rusted to the car, I have no idea what kind of damage may be there. The dealer refused to do anything about the problem saying its normal wear. Wheels being rusted to the car is normal wear? It appears the car had been sitting in water for some time. I have photos of the rear spindle area available.
Do not buy from Roadsters Auto out of Houston, can not be trusted.
I contacted e-bay who said the vehicle was eligible for up to $50.000 protection coverage refused to do anything because the car was 12 years old, I guess they weren't aware of the age when they posted that ad.
