Southwest hyundai dallas don't you dare trust 'em! No matter what bill dickeson says

In the market for a new vehicle but concerned about qualifying with damaged credit, I got financing for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer with less than 17K miles. I was excited and thought this dealership really did a great job overall, but found out later that I'd been taken advantage of... FIRST issue: although this was a fairly new vehicle, there were a few things wrong - missing sunvisors (both of them), passenger side window and door lock didn't work, console lid kept popping open on its own, etc. When I raised this as a concern to my salesperson, I was told, "don't worry, we'll take care of it for you. This vehicle is still under warranty." Shortly after the purchase, I received calls from my lender to close out the paperwork on my loan. I mentioned these things so the lender told me that they could not close out the paperwork until I had the repairs done. They also indicated that the VIN number provided showed the vehicle had POWER seats, but it didn't. Anyway, I scheduled a time for the dealership to get the repairs done - taking the car to them on a Thursday. After no word from them, I called and was told it was going to take a few days because the part for the door had to be ordered so I would not get it back until the following Monday. The service guy (Ray) called me to say the vehicle was ready, but didn't tell me until I got there that the management team decided not to fix anything. Long story short, the passenger side door was not repaired due to the fact that the part currently in the vehicle is a non-Chevy part. As for the "sunvisors, " even though I have a slip of paper showing "WE OWE" sunvisors, they didn't replace those either. This process took so long that the lender closed out the paperwork and finalized the loan, so it was too late for me to give the vehicle back.

Later, they called and asked if I could bring the vehicle in to get the inspection sticker so they could get the registration done. I did since I knew I needed more than paper tags, but later found that they had removed the NEW SPARE and JACK that were originally with the vehicle and replaced the tire with a VERY USED one. I'm so furious with them... I called the Southwest Kia lot which is where Bill Dickeson supposedly works onsite, but was never able to speak with him personally. Spoke with someone named "Edwin" who admitted that they would honor the "WE OWE YOU" paperwork on the sunvisors, but I never heard back from him even after calling a few times on my own.

Under no circumstances would i recommend anyone use this dealership or any of the southwest dealergroup family.
