I bought an Oldsmobile Olero, May from CarHop. My payments were faithfully made, on time each month for more than a year. When the car wouldnt start and I had to pay for a tow, I called UAC, the lending company.
I talk to Mark, a rep, to make arrangements to defer my payments so I could use the money to have my car repaired. At first he told me I was a good customer who paid on time and that I should just send them a repair estimate and they would help me.
Well I tried to get a definite answer from him and he started back peddling and talking over me, when I finally asked him if I could talk; he said "NO"!
Who do they employ at UAC? This man was acting as if he was doing me a favor and talking to me like I was one of his kids. This overpriced car is half paid for and it would be wise to adjust my payments until I can get it repaired at my expense.
Then I could finish paying off this car and we could part ways, for good. I would not suggest anyone buy a car from CarHop. I will be contacting the Attorney General and I would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit
