Do not buy vehicles from Saturn of West Phoenix. We first saw their car on the internet. It was placed on autotrader.com and their webiste for 21,000. We jumped at this deal and called for pictures. I talked to someone on the phone about the car and asked a few questions. Told her the price was great and we were most likely going to be buying it. Then I talked to someone else to get pictures. When I told her the vehicle and then the price she "informed" me that the price was not correct. I immediately took a screen shot of autotrader.com and where the vehicle was on their own site. About 5 minutes later the price was updated on their own site and magically they had a disclaimer which was not there before. Their excuse was their "EDS" system. I'm not stupid, I work with computers and their whole story was just a bunch of crap, but I didn't want to be a pest and thought the car was even worth their new price. I do still have those screen shots.
We drive 2 hours to go see the car. Before we did this we asked for them to give us the brand of the rims, the brand of the DVD screens in the head rests and to make sure all 4 DVD screens worked. We received an email back with the names but not whether they were working or not.
The SUV had a crack in the windshield, there was paint on the interior where we thought they had maybe tried to fix some exterior damage, the interior was not represented well on the website and to top it all off... The DVD screens in the 2nd row of the suv weren't installed properly. There were wires poking out of the head rests, it was a rats nest of wires under the seats and the screens themselves didn't even fit in the holes. Some of the wires weren't even plugged into anything. They had literally cut the leather under the headrest and shoved the wires down there. The leather was popping out of the DVD screens and there were rips all around it. The DVDs didn't even work in the back row. None of them had sound, even the middle row. We had to get a set of headphones to see if they worked and they didn't even have any.
They purposely got someone hooked on a good price, then raised it, then they suckered us down there to "pick up the car" under the impression it was what they had advertised and didn't need any work. All they offered was to fix the windshield and to reimburse us when we went to a Saturn dealership and got power to the back DVD players. They would not fix the seats they ruined. They wouldn't go down in price and they wouldn't reimburse us if we fixed the middle bench. Some of the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will be forwarding this and my screen shots as high as I can go with Saturn.
I just wanted others to know before they go buy a car from Saturn of West Phoenix. Don't waste your gas or your time.
