With them for 2 1/2 years and never missed a payment. These people would call and harrass you if you missed the due date by 24 hours. What is illegal is calling you past legal hours, several times in one day after already reaching you and calling you at work repeatedly after being instructed not to. Paying 23.9% interest you think I would get better treatment. Am I a criminal? No.
I lost my wife and child to a drunk driver while serving in the army and my credit took a total downturn. I was late three times-never more than 9 days though. And I called them to tell them. On my credit report it says "PAYS AS AGREED-NEVER LATE". Thankfully the car has been traded in and PAID OFF. I purchased a nice two year old vehicle at 13%. My credit is back up with a good score. I was an excellent customer of Drive Financial (formerly First City Funding) and they mistreated me. Now I Will relate my experiences with Drive to my friends and local dealers (I help people buy cars at local dealers). Maybe local dealers will stop using their pathetic services. That is my goal.
