Yep, they got us too. $1769 for a three year warranty. We have had it 18 months and now we need to use it and guess what they are in receivership. I was told by Ultimate Warranty to contact our dealer about our repair.
I contacted Indian Mound Pontiac in Newark, Oh. Yes, they will fix the vehicle at 100% our cost and then we can submit the claim. You and I both know Ultimate Warranty will never pay on the claim.
I read somewhere that the dealership received a portion of our $1769 when we purchased the warranty. Considering our repair is estimated at $300, wouldn't you think the dealer would take care of the repair to keep customers happy?
I have contacted the Ohio Attorney General's office 2 weeks ago, but no response yet.
If someone hears of a class action lawsuit, let us know. That is alot of money to just give away.
