I took my 1992 15 passenger van to find out why she was idling rough and not wanting to stay running. They said I needed a new motor that should run around 5ooo dollars. They said this would cover all labor charges and the new motor. I told them fine since I bought this van used two years ago and the odometer stopped before I bought it, I had no knowledge of the age.
I explained I have six children and am disabled so I really needed this van to run properly. They reaffirmed that they are a five star service center and I had no reason to worry. 2 and a half months later I got my van back after many promises of Tuesdays. I drove it 800 miles if that only to limp back into town less than a week after I got it back. A friend who is a retired machanic checked it to see if it could make the trip back to the shop, it couldn't. Oil, transmission, and coolant leaks and the alternator was about to fall off.
The company sent a tow truck four days later only to tell me after 2 more days that there was nothing wrong with the van and I owed them a 4oo dollar tow charge. Now they are saying my van was never cared for and bad mouthing my family as hicks that want a free ride. I just want what I paid 5000 dollars for, a van that runs well.
