Wrecked my 1980 Corvette. Needed $5600 worth of repairs. Progressive said it was worth $1500. NADA said $7000 to $15,000 depending on condition. Mine was worth about $8000.
I talked to the local Chevy dealer's body shop Manager. He said there was no such thing as a $1500 Corvette.
I talked to a Car Apprasier. He said if was sitting on 4 wheels it was worth more than $1500.
The cheapest Corvette I could find for sale didn't run, had a bad interior, had body damage
and needed a paint job. It was $2800.
After 6 months of fighting them we finally agreed on $3800. That was in January. They took my Corvette but I still have not recieved my Check.
