Please do not be the next to be scammed at this place. They are currently located on Kass Circle in Spring Hill but from what I hear the county is going after them and the owners of the building to get them out of their. They are ripping people off all the time and the county is starting to take notice to all the complaints and is finally starting to do something about it.
You go there and think you are getting your engine rebuilt. The guy there Mike will dissasemble your engine and will always say "it doesnt need bored" then he will hone it and that's if you lucky. Then your same pistons, cam bearings and such will be re-used. He will tell you and me even show you some new parts you think you are getting but most likely you will get your same old parts back. With new gaskets and a fresh coat of paint.
Or you could be like someone else I know who dropped of a big block Chevy and their engine ended up being sold to one of Mikes friends instead then Mike tried to pass another Damaged engine off as the original. But the first person kept their engine castings on file and now know that the damaged engine they got back is not the angine they dropped off. Now filing police report for theft!
Also seen Mike tell another customer he needed a carb rebuilt. Really car just had a vacuum leak... They took the carb, cleaned it in the parts washer and put it back on the car and gave the guy a a bill for 5 hours labor.
Another customer dopped of a truck to get his engine rebuilt... As stated before Mike dissasembled the engine... Looked at it and said "looks fine" then cleaned parts and put back together. Really the truck had a bad head on it and within 2 hours of leaving the speed shop the truck overheated very badly. Now Mike is telling this guy that it was his fault for letting the truck overheat and its not the shops fault and they will do nothing about it.
I know another situation where another big block Chevy was there and again while working on a friends big block el camino there at the shop Mike robbed parts from another customers engine for his friends big block. They took all the valve train from the engine and then told the customer they needed all new valves, springs and such. So some customer out there paid for new valve train so a friend of mikes could get something for free.
Mike also just started letting his son work there who has serious drug problems and a girlfriend/thief from hell. If you take a car there that has stereo equipment in it and they want it they will "accidently" leave your car outside so your window gets knocked out and all your equipment is gone now. Guess what? They say they are not responsible about that either. Well they are. Don't back down, Florida does has bailment laws here which states your property is their responsibilty while in their care. Don't fall for one of those signs you see on the wall in a place that says otherwise.
Yes another problem... Mike sells cars there also. Problem is most of the time he doesnt own them, he is actually selling them for other people or one of his partners actually is holding title to them. He will sell you a car... Take your money and not tell the person who owns it or his partner that it was sold yet. He will stretch it our for as long as he can before you get your title because to get you your title he has to tell the real owner or his partner is was sold but Mike has already spent the money. Now you are stuck in the middle! Mike doesnt like the police though... Call them and he will get you a title very quickly. I know someone who had to go thru that very recently. They were warned but didnt listen and they went for months with a car and no title.
Do a seach for Mike in Pasco county clerk of Courts. He has several civil judgements against him and his former auto business there. I guess you screw people for so long and then move onto the next county. Also did a search for him in California... Same story, took a lot of peoples money and actually entire cars and just took off. Anyway... If you still go there for anything YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Complaints have been filed with the Sherrifs, County Prosecutor, State Commerce and County Code Enforcement. Something will eventually happen!
