Adam Yunis of Speciality Car Sales falsely represented the condition of a car that I purchased from him. I asked him if the car had been wrecked and he said never and the Car Fax was clean. He stated that the paint was original and had never been painted on. He also stated that "everything was working as new" as well as that the tires had only 5,000 miles on them.
Since this person represented himself to be a business man that dealt all the time with BMW, Porsches and Mercedes and that he had a paint and body shop and technicians on staff that did maintanence on the car. I researched his company and his ebay rating to find that he seemed to have a good business record.
Since, we had visited about this car on several occassions, I accepted his comments and profession opinion on the condition of the car and bought it.
I flew to Miami and drove it home. When we drove to his shop to conduct the transaction, I questioned him on a rattle I heard in one of the rear doors and on a tire vibration that I felt. He just dismissed all of these concerns and since it had rained and the car was dirty the paint inspection was hard to do.
Upon returning home, I took the car to the local BMW dealership to only find out that it needed $2800.00 in repairs. Mr. Yunis was contacted and I have documentation that the car has in fact been wrecked and the front bumper and right side have been painted. There were mechanical issues and the tires on the back had 30,000 miles on them and were worn out.
I confronted him on these issues and he basically told me that the local BMW Dealership was making things up about the condition of the car and then he said that the car might have some paint but no wrecks. I have a service order from BMW in my hand that says otherwise.
He has declined to help make this situation right between us and now I am pursuing this with my Attorney.By the way, he has done this to two other people that bought cars from him and they were wrecked or had problems and the matters were not resolved. I have their emails with their stories.
This dealer and business seems unethical and did not fairly represent the car he sold to me. I think I know how he is conducting his business of selling cars that have a questionable accident history and I am one step away from proving this.
I did not get a pre buyers inspection because he convenienced me that he knew these cars and that any attention this car needed was given because his wife and him were driving it daily... Which I got two stories conflicting stories on this as well.
