Was approved for their "credit builders" program, but they will only allow you to get certain vehicles. I had nothing available for down payment or trade in. They said they would try to work with me on something, but this would limit the vehicles available to me again.
Looked at a few vehicles, test drove one, it was alright. 1997 Buick LeSabre, 120,000 mile on it. The salesman came back with the price and payments. $7,495.00, $75 a week. WHAT?!
No I didn't get the car, and as soon as I got home, I got on-line to the Kelly Blue Book site and found that that car was retailed at $4,500! Lucky me.
Also found out that their "credit builders" program is only a credit builder with THEM, they don't report to the credit bureau until you've traded up through their three tiered programm. This is a bunch of bull. They snow you on the price of the vehicle and charge you a but load in interest.
Never will I go to them again without a printout from the kelly blue book to shove in their face.
