I was led to believe my $567 was going towards a reliable A to B car. 32 Miles later, engine was smoking, overheating and sputtering very badly.
Brought it to a mechanic, thinking it was just a faulty thermostat, and he told me that it was a cracked cylinder.
He also pointed out that the carbureator was full of a water/oil/gas mixture. Upon checking the radiator, it had gone completely dry.
I called J-Linn motors from the repair shop and told them what had happened. They said they would call the "owners" and discuss it with them.
I had the car towed back to my home ($50 later), and received a message from the salesman saying that he spoke with the "finance company" (Note: I paid CASH for this auto), and they said because it left THEIR lot running and driving, they are not going to do ANYTHING about it.
Any help?
