A week ago I purchased a 1997 honda accord from North Hills Auto Mall. They told me numerous things that ended up being lies just to sell the car. The car has 192000 miles on it, but he told me that the engine had been swapped and had only about 110000 miles on it. Well I looked up the only owner of the car before me in the phone book last night to ask him some questions, and he tells me NO the engine has never been swapped. So the guy lied to my face and told me that the engine had been swapped.
He led me to believe that i was getting a car with only 110k miles on the engine instead of 192k. I even have a witness who was with me... The guy was definately a swindler... Beware of this place and their tactics.
Also, the tires were bald on the insides on the rear tires which he neglected to mention. (not very noticable until you get it home and take the wheels off to work on them).
