I made a mistake by letting Maaco of East Alton paint
my engine bay, well not shortly after the warrenty is
up, 14 months later the paint is flaking off. And
corparate wont do anything about it, and the owner of
the shop flat out said he doesnt want to see my truck
again... (not my fault he cant do a quality job)
just my fault i took it there to begin with
Maaco did my engine bay 12/03 and it looked good, no
flaws then in in 06/04 they did my door jambs. This
is where i had problems, first time they called said
it was done, I went to look at it, and the doors were closed with the paint wet. Left a ring all the around the door. And in places the paint was already chiped off, well the owner said he would fix it, I said ok, well called me about 1.5 months later said it was done. I went to look at it and he just painted over the chipped off paint and the dirt ring left on the doors, this time i was POed, i yelled at him to do it right this time. I call the corporate office this time... Well about 1 more month went by and finally it was done and looked good... Took them 3 months to fix thier screw up. Now i
have another problem the paint is flaking off in the
engine bay and they wont fix cuz its out of warrenty. Go figure live and learn huh... I also contacted the corparate office again... It will cost me approx 600 or more to have it all redone correctly. I have contacted Maaco several times on the above matter
