Ripoff, service department has not one clue!

I took my 2003 Solara convertible because I had horrible wind noise and the window rubber seal was torn. After an hour and a half, they brought my car and said it was fixed. This was Feb. 2004. Well, April I go to let down the top and it won't go. Finally after 5 attempts, I got it down (couldn't drive with the top standing straight up). When I put it back up, it had torn all across the driver's side. Took it in, they swore that they had nothing to do with it... It must have rotted... Yea, right, it was so old!

After much haggling, they agreed to fix it but the top had to be ordered. Went back to have it installed and the installer didn't show up. A month later, he came to my home and installed it.

Then I took the car in because it was dragging when accelerated. The "service technician" said it was because my new floor mats. I got the car back... Same noise. About a month later, I was able to take it to another dealer. The problem was the rear wheel hub had to be replaced. Of course during that time, the car has gone out of warranty. I have contacted the national Toyota customer service and they have "generously" offered me my repair cost of $600 off of my next Toyota purchase.
