Lithia Chevy and GMC Fairbanks
Alaska Used Cars aren't Alaska ready Fairbanks

I purchased to cars from Lithia both were only 1-2 years old at the time and had been in Alaska. Neither vechile was winterized, not even a block heater. My first vehicle from there a 2009 Chevy Impala only had a factory installed autostart. I had to spend an extra $500 just for that. My second vehicle a 2010 Mazda CX-7, power steering line burst its first winter I had it. It sat in the parking lot for three days before it was even seen even those they said the problem took minutes to fix. They fixed it within "minutes" but still charged a full hours worst of labor and diagnostic fee. When I picked my car up it was -30 out side. The technican said my car was right outside but instead I spent 15 mins walking outside looking for my car which was actually at the very back of the parking lot. The store manager was very rude when I called to ask about the charges as if I had a background in auto services. They got me twice but I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM LITHIA EVER AGAIN! And if you want a winter ready vehicle definitely go to Stanly Nissian instead! Used or new they are ready!
