Dear BJ’s,
I have been a regular patron of BJs for more than a year. I always enjoy the food and the service.
I cant express enough our disappointment enough after visiting BJ’s this past Sunday September 25.
As a group of friends who have great interest in many VARIOUS sports we have always enjoyed BJ’s for sporting events, dining and drinks.
On Sunday afternoon around 1:30-2:30pm, with the restaurant maybe 20% full, and having no less than 10 televisions throughout, we were shocked after being told by the assistant manager he was not willing to change any TV from NFL to accommodate NASCAR race.
He made it clear we would need to find another place if we wanted to watch the last 30 laps of the race.
We were completely understanding NFL was on and very flexible to watch on ANY screen in the place. It was so shocking to not be accommodated at a time in the afternoon when there were only 6 NFL games televised.
Nonetheless as the person inviting friends to “meet up at BJ’s”, I wanted to express the frustration of not only myself but, the friends who drove to meet me there.
On a side note luckily we found a nice place just around the corner in the same plaza named Doc’s Backyard that was 95% full yet had no problem changing one TV so we could watch the NASCAR Championship Chase.
Its times like these when you leave places familiar and discover new places that become the new hangout. So for that we thank you.
