7 reasons why I will NOT be visiting ever again

How to eat healthy at a pizza joint. But, as I was thinking, I realized that pizza and healthy JUST DON'T MIX. Especially Pizza Hut's Pizza. If you get lucky and find a Pizza Hut that CAN make pizzas, you are in for a treat! They are a gooey, delicious, treat.

But—unfortunately, they don't have those kind of Pizza Huts in Columbus, OH.

Now, don't get me wrong—Not ALL Pizza Huts serve vile pizza's. The ones in the Virginia area have PERFECTED the art of pizza making! But, since I no longer live there, I am stuck eating the Ohio version.

After reading some other reviews written on Pizza Hut, I decided to give the top 7 reasons why I will NOT be visiting Pizza Hut ever again. This last trip (it was so I could write the review... Really!) reminded me that there ARE better place to eat pizza.

Like - the school cafeteria.

Top 10 Reasons why Pizza Hut has lost MY business:

7:

When I order a pizza, I expect it to be cooked properly. When I go to Pizza Hut, I usually order either a pan pizza or a Edge pizza. Both are always messed up. The Edge pizza is supposed to be thin and crispy-NOT thin and BURNT. The edges are usually charred and the veggies crisped. If I get the pan pizza, it is (shock shock) undercooked. The crust is supposed to be thick and soft, but, instead I get doughy and gooey. I prefer my crust to be edible.

6:

The salad bar is NEVER well stocked. I always order the salad bar as an appetizer. For $1.99, you can get one trip to it. IF you are lucky-it will contain the basics: lettuce, veggies, eggs, salad toppers, and 4 or 5 standard dressings. However, every time I go—it is missing some items. Getting them replace is like trying to pull a tooth-painful it seems! Also, keep a CLOSE eye on the lettuce. If the edges are wilted—avoid at ALL costs!

5:

The last time I went to pizza Hut, the even managed to ruin my breadsticks! (sob) The Pizza Hut breadsticks SHOULD be about 8" long, bendable and smothered in grated cheese and garlic. They run $1.99/5 and $3.99/10. The last two times I ordered them, they came to my table cold. And, hard. When I asked for them to be reheated—or even better—to get a fresher batch, the employee acted like I was speaking Russian. NOT the way to my wallet.

4:

They mix up orders much too much. Since I work days, and going to Pizza Hut is a wee bit out of my way, I called ahead to place my order. I clearly stated that I wouldn't be there until about 5-5:15 to get my order. However, a mix-up at work delayed me even more. Meaning, I wouldn't get there until after 5:30 or so. I called at 4:45 and told them I WOULD be late, and could my order be pushed back accordingly.

The oh-so-charming creature who answered the phone basically told me:

"Tough luck! Your food is in the oven now!"

By the time I got to PH, it was 5:40. My Pizza was waiting in the warmer, but my breadsticks were no where to be seen. After waiting another 10 minutes-my order was completed. Or, so I thought. A peek in the box revealed a Hand Tossed Supreme. Whoops - I had ordered a veggie EDGE. Good thing I hadn't taken it home, huh? This review would have never made it to the board.instead, it would have been canceled, as I would refuse to have anything at ALL to do with PH.

3:

WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT GETTING MY PHONE NUMBER RIGHT??? I have had the same number for four years. And the same address. So, why is it my neighbor (who happens to have the same last name as me) always gets my pizza? And, why is it, when I call in and give my number-I'm never found in the system? Pizza Hut has a citywide number for delivery purposes. (614-895-1111) Every single time I call in, they have to re-enter my name and address into the system. It's so much easier to call Donato's, where they know me by name.

2:

Is it just me-or should the staff wear their hair pulled up/back? Last I checked, lose hair wasn't a topping choice.

And The #1 reason why Pizza Hut has lost me as a customer:

Why pay $12.99 for z pizza that doesn't TASTE like a pizza when I can buy a frozen one for $4.99! In the last year or so, Pizza Hut has REALLY raised their prices. At one time, a couple could get a *meal deal* for $13.98. This included a medium pizza of choice, two salads, and unlimited soft drinks.

Now, Pizza Hut expects nearly $17.00 for the same deal. And, the food isn't nearly as appetizing. Why not take that $17.00 and make your own pizza. Chances are, you WILL be able to eat it...

What used to top quality pizza has gone downhill. I used to eat here once a week (lunch buffet). Now, I can't even stand the very THOUGHT of going here. Sorry Pizza hut, but breaking my diet vow for you was a BAD mistake. To think - I could have used all those calories and had a ice cream sundae...

(sighs...)
