In January of 99 I got hired at the Pizza Hut in Apache Junction, Arizona where my sister worked. I was pretty excited since I needed a job really bad.
I was hired as a waitress but I was told that for the first couple of days I would be paid 5.75 an hour, but I didn't last even a couple of days. The first day and the only day I worked there the manager grabbed my butt. I then asked him to stop because it made me feel uncomfortable. He stopped but only for a few hours. The next thing he did was ask me if he could feel my breast and if I would have sex with him. Naturally I was very offended and went to the area supervisor and told her. Her explanation for his behavior was "That is just him." I was not satisfied with her response so when I left for the day I singed my time card and left, never to return, but the thing is, still till this day I have not been paid.
I am another victim that will do what I can to make sure the Carters Pay for what they have been doing to employees for years, and hopefully stop them from doing this in the future.
