I have to admit that I consider myself an educated and savvy consumer, now I have to take on a bit of hubris and humility. I had an emergency appendectomy, and had nothing else on my mind except the imminent procedure, and the road to recovery afterwards. I got a little too casual with some of my other primary responsibilities and figured things would just blow over and it would be no big deal. Oops. I quickly discovered how painful and how significant just a couple of late payments could be, as my score dropped by over 80 points, even after I settled the debts! Fortunately, my wife looked into things for me, and after screening several credit repair agencies, we decided to go with Accurise.
Accurise is well worth the program costs and then some. They managed to delete both of my settled paid off accounts, as well as a few erroneous negatively reporting items that I hadn’t even been aware of! I am now sitting at a solid 700 score and couldn’t be happier. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice…Needless to say, my lesson has been learned. Thanks, Accurise.
