I attended cre spartanberg school it was a hardship as the rooms were small they did not provide any meals transportation to and from the facility was scarce and there was nothing close by but I was determined and stuck it out and graduated. I went to slc utah and was sent out with a trainer this took about another five days this time i was given one meal a day. My experience with a trainer was typical he was more interested in having me drive all the miles so he could screw around on his driving shift. BUt I stuck it out, then After i finished driving 23000 miles with a trainer bringing home 189.00 dollars a week I went into q-fleet with a fellow student and we teamed during the next three weeks i made about 150.00 dollars a weekbut I was told it was because we were not running enough miles. As we were only running about 2800 miles a week and I could not get my co - driver to do any more I decided to go solo. Since I was qualified to lease I decided to go for the big. 82 cpm my first lease check which hadf the first lease payment deferred and also had a five hundred dollar bonus for signing a lease was about 700.00 I thought I was finally going to make some money BUt for the next month I brought home 63.00 this is no typo sixty three dollars. Now before you jump to the conclusion that I was Not working I was running 3600 miles a week but heres what they did not only to me but t9o a number of other drivers I talked to
If you turn in four trips totalling 3600 miles they will pay you only for the trips that cover your lease payment and your fuel the other one or two trips they will hold back when you ask them what gives they say they have not received them yet or they have not been approved then next week when you have four new trips turned in they will pay you for the two trips they held back last week and maybe one of the new ones when you ask them what gives they say 6they have not received them or they have not been approved and the cycle begins again leaving you with 20 0r thirty dollar paychecks and no recourse since they do pay you all your miles... Whatb you get in the mail is instructions telling you to put an ad inthe newspaper SELLING INFORMATION ON HOW TO MAKE MONEY STUFFING ENVELOPES this is where the envelope stuffing comes in, you tell people to rip off other people -just like youve been ripped off. C R England will tell you thjat the only way to make money is to lease and become a trainer and you got it, rip off other people just like youve been ripped off. If you do go to a cr england school and go to work for them do not sign a lease no matter what company drivers get the shitty runs have forced dispatch can not pick their own routes but they are doing better than lease operators, also do not team, they make it sound good but remember your pay is tied to their performance or lack thereof and once you leave with a tem mate they are very reluctant to let you out of that truck I dont know if other companies out there operate like this or not but that is what happened to me and I just want to get the word out so maybe someone else does not have to go through what I went through.
