Lazy, Self-Serving Crooks Harmed my 84-year-old Mother after her Stroke!

Earlier this year, these lazy crooks had a hand-delivered subpoena to my 84-year-old mother, who is recovering from an extremely serious stroke. But the fact that my mother (with whom I live) is seriously ill, apparently, does not matter to these awful people.

Since they have seen fit to try to garnish my wages, they could have checked on the health of my mother. Heather Kelley (one of the greediest and most cold-blooded of their attorneys) knew very well that I live with my elderly parents. I told her this when I was first dragged into court (thus missing a day of work) by Liberty Acquisitions Leeches (also called Servicing, LLC). And I told Ms. Kelley in Jefferson County Court, that my mother was recovering from a stroke.

Nevertheless, when it came time to contact me and send me some sort of notice about court proceedings (I believe in regard to garnishment of my insufficient substitute teachers' wages), Ms. Kelley cared far more about my debt to them (accrued through U.S. Bank) being repaid, than about the life or death of my elderly mother. So Liberty Acquisitions arranged to have someone hand-deliver this document to my mother, personally!

The fact that they paid only 20 cents on the dollar for this debt is, for the moment, beside the point. The main point, to me, is that they saw fit to endanger the physical health of my 84-year-old mother, who they knew was in poor physical health. Such conduct is utterly inexcusable - even if I owed them a million dollars and all of it was legitimately incurred!

Another very pertinent fact is that at Jefferson County Courthouse in Golden, I told Heather Kelley that I was owed $2,800.00 by my ex-husband, Gordon Dihle. Mr. Dihle (another lawyer not unlike Ms. Kelley) has owed me this money for years since our divorce. When I came upon the uncashed checks (one for support payment in the amount of $2,000.00 and one in the amount of just over $800.00), Mr. Dihle was in the middle of his third divorce. So I when I found the checks, I told him I did not expect payment in full then and there, but would be happy if he would make payments on them. Ms. Dihle indicated that I would be repaid gradually.

However, I mentioned this sum to Ms. Heather Kelley, attorney at Liberty Acquisitions. I told her that I would be happy to repay the sum of money I owed (legitimately) to Liberty Acquisitions by helping them to go after the debt owed me by Gordon Douglas Dihle of Spencer Edwards Finance Company in Greenwood Village, Colorado.in fact, despite the fact that even my claimed indebtedness to them did not amount to anywhere near $2,000.00, I told Ms. Kelley that Liberty Acquisitions could have up to (I believe) $1,500.00 from the sum owed me by Gordon Dihle. So Liberty Acquisitions, collectively, and Ms. Heather Kelley, individually, knew they could get a fair return for their money, with my help, by going after the sums owed me by Gordon Douglas Dihle.instead, though, this company chose to arrange a personal confrontation with my elderly and very infirm mother, thereby further endangering her physical and mental health.

At Jefferson County Courthouse, Ms. Kelley did not state that she would try to get the moneys owed me to Liberty Acquisitions from Mr. Dihle. But she did not state that Liberty Acquisitions would not do this, either. Certainly, Ms. Kelley gave me no indication of any kind whatsoever that Liberty Acquisitions would directly confront my 84 year old mother, who was (and is) recovering from an extremely serious stroke!

With respect to my financial indebtedness to Liberty Acquisitions, some of the debt was legitimately incurred by me to U.S. Bank. However, the total of my indebtedness to U.S. Bank was roughly $700.00 total. Now, it seems that Liberty Acquisitions is claiming that I owe them $1,287.26 in total. It appears that they believe their actions in directly confronting my 84-year-old, infirm mother deserve some sort of financial compensation, instead of the lawsuit their actions definitely deserve.

In today's mail, I received word that Liberty Acquisitions plans to garnish my substitute teacher's paychecks. If they do so, at this point, when I have only about $50.00 and a car to my name, I will ensure they do not get one cent. First and foremost, I will inform the IRS and the Colorado Revenue Department of my indebtedness to them. Secondly and if I can get my parents to accompany me, I will move back to Europe, where banks take care of business in civilized means, by NOT harassing elderly, infirm people to their deaths.

When I told Ms. Kelley about my plans to move elsewhere if they kept harassing me about this debt when I could not pay it due to the fact that I am underemployed, she laughed, saying, "Well, if a debt of $1200 causes you to move..." When I leave this country, I will be laughing at Ms. Kelley., Liberty Acquisitions and all their kind. They are greedy and dishonest, and are causing the current brain drain from the United States to other nations. While I feel sorry that others will lose due to this brain drain, the sooner people like Heather Kelley, Liberty Acquisitions, Gordon Douglas Dihle (who is also in finance) are out of business, the better.
