I was notified by a attorney office that i was being sued for cash advance fraud. I was told that i accepted a cash advance, then when the company tried to retrieve the money, it was rejected. I asked the attorney when did i receive the money in my account, the attorney office hung up on me., not before he told me that i would be picked up by the sheriff office. This attorney read a document to me and asked that I not interrupt him.
I was told his last name was Cruz and he was from San Francisco, CA. When i tried to call the number back 415-376-1474, the company would not answer. I called my local police department and they said they had no record of picking me up. I tried to call the number again, and it was as if my call was blocked. Later i got another call from 936-162-1654. When I said hello, they hung up too. It appears that this is a scam and they have gotten different information. They told me that knew my address and references but did not divulge that information to me.
