In 2012 I wanted to get a free credit report and everything was on the up and up until I found this strange account. It said that the account was opened in Jan for $190 and the account was described as a utilities company. I have never lived in Illinois so how could I have a utility bill there when I have been living in Philadelphia since June. Now it is a bad report on my credit report which of course affects the score.
