Robert Ritch is a thief. He preys on people who want to go into business, have limited resources and are desperate enough to try almost anything to obtain the financing they need. He does absolutely NOTHING other than take your money.
We had the unfortunate meeting of Mr. Ritch almost a year ago. We were trying to start a sandwich shop and although Mr. Ritch was recommended by Bill Gaffney, who was recommended through an aquaintance, I had misgivings from the beginning.
Nobody asks for these fees up front. He asked for a certain amount of money to come down and take a look, and get a feel for what we were trying to do. He was here all of about 20 minutes, flew in, flew out. Made money. Then he needed some more money wired to him for "due diligence", in addition to the "due diligence" we had given him. We NEVER saw a thing.
