I received a call from a Mr Carmine Palmieri, sale representative, for Liberty Group Services. He informed me that I was eligible to receive a credit card thru Liberty Group to re-establish my credit. The credit line was for $2500. He asked me a series of questions regarding my social security number and my banking information. Right there, I should have seen the set up.
And to make matters worse, Liberty Group debit my account $300 to cover the cost of receiving the card. I tried to contact their offices thru written correspondence and by numerous phone calls. I was able to reach an unknown individual and he informed that he could check the status of my account, but the computer systems were down and he advised me to call back in 10 minutes to recheck the status of my card.
I called and got nothing but spanish hold music and $300 from my account and no card. I feel sorry for companies that desperate to rob me of my little $300 and false advertise that my credit will be restored off a card that could only be used for purchase from their catalog. Do not be fooled... Liberty group services are a bunch of ripoff artist and they should be punished!!!
