In December I got my 1st acll from CAMCO, actually a nice lady (sure she does not work there any more) saying I owed Cresents 700 dollars and they were willing to settle for 400. This was a debt from 1987 when I was 17 years old. I asked for some proof of this. She said she would send it.
Next call was a man he said he did not have to prove I owed it because it was on my credit report (lie #1). Then he said if I did not pay right now he would call my Mortgage company and have them raise my interest rates (lie#2). I told them I would not be paying the bill and do not call me.
Next call was from Joseph Dodge. I asked what the purchase was for he said it was a credit card so he cant tell me (lie#3) Cresent issues a credit Card but each purchase is signed up on its own security agreement, I know this because I have an account with this company. When I explained this to Mr. Dodge he said I did not owe Cresents because CAMCO paid the bill off for me. When I asked him not to call me because he was was waking up my twin 9month olds, he said I did not deseve to have children because I am an awful mother and a thief.
