I got a sallie Mae loan.in one year I got chafed $500 in interest! I applied for some more money, was denied and no one could tell me why. I have about a 700 credit score. My mom has perfect credit so she co-signed. Still denied and don't know why and I've called and just been transferred from one person to another. My prinipal balance is not going down because of my interest. They are horrible. If you have questions, don't expect and answer because they must hire high school drop outs who know nothing, and obviously no proper training! My payments were supposed to be $50 a month... Lol not! It's 152.44... So how is my principal balance not being paid? They change your interest rate on you and put it all to that. Don't even honk about letting these people give you a loan, they don't care about you or the education.
